I just got a Twitter account today. This thing at worked wanted me to follow them, so I justified it that way. Not a big fan of it, but maybe I'll stop being old and cranky and just go with it.
@SimonDedalus2 if you're so inclined. Apparently someone has already used my name, so I had to put a 2 in there. The otherone is probably me and I created an account while drunk. I shall investigate later. I may throw up one of them Twitter plug ins that broadcast my tweets as well.
Oh, I've actually been writing lately and some semi good stuff too. And I've been reading Cory Doctorow's new book, Homeland. Enjoying it a lot. I'll have some things to say once I'm finished.
I spent my Saturday in The Secret World sitting on a train waiting for it to take me to Cairo. It was supposed to take 13 hours. I waited 15. It never arrived. I asked on the forums about it and was informed, "Just a special one time deal." So I wasted 15 hours of my life.
I think there is a lesson somewhere in there.
I played a little WoW as well. I think I'm completely bored with it again.
Well, we seem to be the most infrequent posters ever on the internet. Most people have the sense to just quit and not keep coming back as if there is some hope. Oh well, it's fun sometimes just to get words written.
I've been playing games, of course. I'm still playing Secret World and the new issue that came out this week, was amazing. I really enjoyed it. It has a bit of an Indiana Jones vibe. I still like the last phase of the previous issue, with Tyler Freeborn, but this one was overall better I think. Supposedly, the last part, if you ride the train for thirteen hours, something happens. I'm going to try it tomorrow.
I've also been playing World of Warcraft a bit more than before. No raiding, but loggin in more. I'm not sure why. It's a good expansion, too bad two years late.
I also resubbed to Eve Online for some reason. I've had fun, but it is an amazingly frustrating game sometimes. Very hardcore in all aspects of game play. I may write something up on it later.
Also, I watched all the current episodes of the new season of Archer over the weekend. Show is still great.
See you again in two weeks!
Yes, hi, hello. It's been about 10 months since I've posted here. Predominately because I let my Youtube Channel die. But, I have started again! I'm going to run my channel properly this time. I've already got an upload schedule set and am going to (try to) stick with it. I'll be putting up a variety of videos; Let's Plays, Pokemon battles, Pokemon teambuildings, and games of various FPS's on Xbox. So, if you've got a few minutes and some curiosity check out my channel. If you like it, drop me a sub. If you love it, spread it to some friends. If you've never seen competitive Pokemon before, check it out. It's very different than the game you played back in 1997. It's a very strategic game that takes a lot of skill to be good at (more than I have), and it's a fun and competitive challenge if you like turn based strategy.
Weird week. Just been tired a lot, but also busy doing things. Right now I want to talk about a couple of games on Kickstarter. First is what has to be some kind of record. The new game that is sort of but not a sequel to Planescape: Torment hit its 900,000 dollar goal in six hours. I put down $125 for Torment: Tides of Numenera. It should be a really good game. I think we're entering some kind of golden age of gaming with how game creators are able to get funded by the fans, rather than begging from corporate investers who then turn around and start ruining the game.

The other game I paid money into is Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey. It's the sequel to Longest Journey and Dreamfall. Both highly rated, very fondly remembered games. I think you should go spend some money on both. I kind of like how I'm spending way more than I normally would for games on Kickstarter and buying games that won't come out until 2014. Oh well, eventually, I'll get lots of cool stuff in the mail :)
